By downloading, accessing, or using the ORKOS app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to specific features of the app. If you do not agree, you must not use ORKOS.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years of age or have obtained parental/guardian consent to use ORKOS.
Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration. Misrepresentation may lead to account suspension or termination.

3. User Obligations

Users must:

Register all assets with accurate details, including serial numbers, photographs, and ownership history.
Report items as lost or stolen truthfully and promptly.
Update the status of recovered items within the app.

Users are prohibited from:

Using the platform to mislead law enforcement.
Sharing their account credentials or granting unauthorized access to their account.
Registering items they do not legally own.

4. Asset Registration and Ownership

Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data entered during asset registration.
ORKOS reserves the right to request proof of ownership for verification purposes.
False claims or fraudulent registrations will result in account termination and may lead to legal action.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

ORKOS is committed to safeguarding user data. Personal and asset information will:

Be encrypted using industry-standard protocols (AES-256 and TLS).
Only be accessible to authorized personnel and law enforcement for flagged items.
Not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.

ORKOS maintains audit logs of all data access and will notify users in the event of a data breach.

6. Law Enforcement Integration

Authorized law enforcement personnel can access flagged items through ORKOS solely for recovery and verification purposes.
Misuse of the platform by law enforcement personnel will result in revocation of access and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
ORKOS will establish formal agreements with law enforcement agencies to define access protocols, responsibilities, and data usage policies.

7. Liability Disclaimer

ORKOS retains user data only as long as necessary to:

ORKOS is a facilitator for asset registration and recovery and does not guarantee the recovery of lost or stolen items.
CORKOS is not liable for errors or omissions in user-provided data, misuse of the platform by users or law enforcement personnel, or damages arising from reliance on information within the app.
Users agree to indemnify ORKOS against any claims or damages resulting from their use of the platform.

8. Modification of Terms

ORKOS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform after such notifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Termination of Service

ORKOS reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
Terminated accounts will lose access to all registered data, and flagged items will no longer be available to law enforcement.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of ORKOS will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the designated arbitration body.
Users waive their right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit.
Arbitration must be initiated within one year of the cause of action.

11. Intellectual Property

ORKOS and all associated logos, trademarks, and content are the intellectual property of ORKOS, Inc.
Users may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without prior written consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ORKOS, Inc., is registered.
Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this jurisdiction.
